Mr. Ashur Eskrya, president of Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq received a delegation, at headquarters of the AASI in Dohuk on Mar. 25th 2016,  included Dr. Chris Seiple president of the Institute for Global Engagement in addition to a number of venerable priests from the protestant churches in China represented by Fr. Huang, Fr. Cui, Fr. Paul and Fr. James, by the attendance of administrative board of AASI, where Mr. Ashur Eskrya talked with a visiting delegation on the activities of Assyrian Aid Society-Iraq and its substantial role in the provision of humanitarian aid delegation since the founding the Society in 1991 and so far, especially in the last period under the displacement of many of our people of Mosul and Nineveh plain in June 2014, in addition to the role of AASI in the support of the Assyrian Education Process and other different activities, then the President of AASI, accompanied by the guests, went to visit Alqosh town in Nineveh Plain, where the delegation visited the camp of Nineveh Plain protection units and met with the force commander Gen. Behnam Abbush, by the attendance of Col. Jowad and Dr. Duraid Hikmat the adviser to governor of Nineveh on Minority Affairs, thereafter the delegation visited a number of archaeological sites of churches and monasteries in the town of Alqosh.
